Would the best way to cure world hunger be to just stop feeding the hungry?

Because by feeding them, they live and reproduce, only to have their offspring born into famine conditions, and their offspring are born into the same thing. But if we stopped feeding them, then less and less offspring would be produced, therefore eventually making the problem a lot easier to deal with because of the decreased population.
