Do you use to see what critics think of the movies before you see them?

It frustrates me when people read their local paper and say a movie got "1 star" or "4 star" because one critic from some random town didn't like it. Rottentomatoes has several hundred critics in its list, and the scores usually reflect a movie's quality, because it ecompasses everything from big time reviewers to random barely-known film review blogs.
