Can we really judge a school by its yearbook?

There seems to be a correlation between the contents of a school's yearbook and its overall attitude. It seems like the more text (that is, captions on every picture, student literary work, school news items, faculty journals, written conversations, student interviews, etc.), the more lively, orderly, and involved the student body. The less text, the more pathetic, individualistic, or rebellious its student body.
