Do you think the phrase "Under God" should be removed from the pledge of allegiance because it violates the first amendment?

I think it should. The history behind the phrasing is that we wanted to separate ourselves from the "Godless Commies" and make our pledge one that they could not say by adding God to it. Thus violating the Establishment Clause. But at the same time it's not as important as most issues. I'd rather just not have the pledge be said in schools. It is kind of sad that a liberal democracy forces people to pledge allegiance to it.
