If you overhear someone else's conversation and they are trying to figure something out and you know the answer, will you tell them?

For example, sometimes I'll be on the bus and overhear two people looking out the window asking each other where are they and saying 'I don't know' so I'll inform them that we're at 'such and such' streets. Or the other day I was in a panty store and this girl was looking for a pair of undies in a bin to match the bra she would shortly be purchasing and I had seen it in the bin I was looking in so I went searching through my bin for it again and found it and awkwardly gave it to her although she was extremely grateful.
