Have you ever lied about liking (or disliking) a book or film because you thought people would make fun of you?

I hadn't imagined people lying of such a trivial matter, but a friend recently told me, 'I know I told everyone how much I loved it, but really, I just don't get the whole Star Wars thing. It's kinda dumb.' This girl owns more Yoda and Darth Vader merchandise than anyone I know.
