They both wear red. Rearrange the letters in Santa, what do you get? Satan. Santa comes down the chimney, the Devil is always surrounded by fire. Santa detracts from the fact that Christmas is Jesus' birthday, what better way to get people to forget about God? Just an interesting idea.
