If the law changed and made some minor thing you like to do illegal for good reasons would you change your behaviour?

The thread about 'authority' made me think. I often used to have a few beers in my local park but they made it illegal and I respect the reasons and that it was all done fairly. I wonder if all the people that said 'I just do whatever I like-don't listen to authority' would risk a criminal record for such a daft thing.
