Does this Comparative Pain Scale match up to how you would rate pain?

For me, #4 says "This pain level can be simulated by pinching the fold of skin between the thumb and first finger with the other hand, using the fingernails, and squeezing real hard." I tried it, squeezing to the point where I bleed from my nails digging in, and I honestly would only rate it a 1. I could barely feel it.
