Do you think the plotlines on The Simpsons are becoming more and more pointless and uninteresting as time goes on?

There has been much debate as to whether Matt Groening, creator of America's 'Golden Family' should end the series because the plotlines are slowly but surely becoming tedious and uncreative while others disagree saying that The Simpsons is as a good as ever.
