Ugh. I loathe both, but I feel the books are worse. They're a sorry excuse for literature. I find I tend to forgive movies more easily, even if they're from a book, so they don't get to me as much. It just seems sort of upsetting to pass such trash off as literature. As someone who wants to be a writer, I don't want to have to be in the ranks of Meyer. I know, I sound elitist, but I'm sure, given the time, I could write a better novel. I don't mean to step on anyone's toes. If you enjoy Twilight, please feel free to voice your opinion in a mature, well-written manner as to why neither the book nor movie are shameful.
