'It's a shame, because I love the profession, but when you are physically scared, it's time to go,' Bain said. Bain is one of seven deans at Norman Thomas HS on East 33rd Street in Manhattan. 'I have five years to go and I'm out of here. If there was a buyout tomorrow, just about all these teachers would quit,' he said. Student Jennifer Falco, 16, can't wait to move on to college. 'It seems that everyone is scared of these students. Really, a lot of them are very violent.' For crying out loud, whatever happened to reform school?....
