Does a weight loss lead to a mutated gene that passes on during reproduction?

I got in an argument with a couple of my friends. I wanted to know the answer to this question: Can weight loss mutate your genes? Meaning, if someone was born fat and lost weight by dieting over time and at that point, when he/she is skinny, reproduced, will the baby receive the ''fat gene'' or a mutated ''skinny gene''?
