Typically, women are more insecure about their bodies than men are. Is this partly because women are less exposed to everyday female nudity?

Men often see other men's bodies in locker rooms, at urinals, etc. The basic reality is that *most* men aren't tall, muscular machines with 10-inch penises, and their regular exposure to flawed, average-looking males reinforces this fact. Women, however, are less likely to see the naked bodies of their average-looking peers (most girls don't walk around completely naked in the locker room, and women obviously don't have urinals) and *more* likely to see the naked bodies of actresses and porn stars. Basically, the main examples of female bodies that they see are of attractive women who've either been airbrushed or covered with makeup.
