This bill is now in Congress and would make all current illegal immigrants, felons. The inhumane part however, is that it will also be illegal for anyone to help an illegal immigrant (whether it is a plate of hot soup, a job, or even a ride to the supermarket), even in the case of an emergency (illness, injury). __________________ Today (3/10/2006) in Chicago, an estimates 75,000-100,000 people marched in an effort to stop this Bill from becoming law. Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich and Mayor of Chicago, Mayor Daley attended the protest as a sign of support. The main streets of Chicago were blocked from any incoming traffic or outgoing traffic. The two pictures ARE from the protest.
