Nursery Water® undergoes an extensive purification process to help meet baby's hydration needs. Water is boiled and water vapor is condensed to produce pure water (distillation). The water is treated by ultraviolet light and ozonated to prevent the presence of harmful bacteria. Minerals (potassium, magnesium and calcium) are added for taste. Fluoride is added to Nursery Water® to help create stronger teeth, both systemically under the gums and topically as teeth emerge. / about.htm
