Would you ever be, or get, a commute helper?

It's a new job that people are starting to do - they get paid to sit in a car with people on their way to work so they can use the carpool lanes and get there faster. This guy makes $100-300 a day just riding in people's cars! If you wouldn't want to have that as a job, would you use one if it allowed you to get to work much faster?
