A SERIOUSLY ill dog has been given a new lease on life after a $10,000 bone transplant. When the Wilson family of Beaumaris took their much loved but terminally ill dog Dougall to a vet to be put down yesterday, there were tears all round. But tears turned to hope for another loved mutt named Max who had a life-saving surgical transplant yesterday with a bone taken from the late, great Dougall.
