Ben Deacy's mouth was allegedly taped to stop him talking, but a teacher who allegedly put tape on a boy's mouth because he was talking during a lesson will not face criminal prosecution. The Llanrumney High School teacher in Cardiff was said to have placed a thin strip of tape over Ben Deacy's mouth. She then wrote about the incident in a school report prompting 11-year-old Ben's mother, Kay Morgan, to complain. A school report written by the teacher and taken home by Ben read: 'Excellent work - once I taped his mouth up!!'
