If you were/are adopted, do you relate more to your blood heritage or your adoptive families' heritage?

I'm adopted and I have always known my blood heritage (Polish, English, and Italian). I have studied Poland and Italian traditions and usually relate more to that then my adopted families heritage (Frech and Irish). However, I do love Irish culture but that has nothing to do with my family because they relate more to the French part.
