'Well, I had everything lined out--I'd planned to install Mandrake Linux on a partition along side WindowsXP in a dual-boot configuration. I backed everything up, partitioned my hard drive with a safe tool (Partition Magic), etc. etc. I accidentally removed Windows. Linux was definitely cool, but I have too much Windows software to completely do away with it. So I had to reinstall WindowsXP and reformat my HDD... the next time I do this, I wanna do it right. Any tips?' -the_brien
