If God was unequivocally proven to exist and it turned out that He was a massive dick, would you still worship Him?

Let's say that the omnipotent creator showed Himself and rather than the benevolent forgiving God of Christianity, He was instead a jealous murdering psychopath who revelled in causing pain and tortured you for all eternity if you didn't bow before Him. Also He is really irritating. (note: this isn't what I think of the Christian God at all, before anyone goes down that route)
