Sure. I've never played the game, or heard of it. But if there's a question about whether or not it affects your health, then there should be a warning on it, no matter how miniscule the possibility of it happening may be.

It's terribly addictive >.< trust me...health warning is a bit far the ESRB warning should suffice. I believe its "Teen"..so yeh...some guy got kicked out of or school actually because he played it so much he failed yr 12..im managing my WoW time (ESRB is the same thing as G,PG,M etc. for movies..except its for games)

They should warn people about how much sleep you'll lose over that game

The online community and "world" feel to it as well as building up your character and new worlds appearing all the time. There's been cases of people getting so addicted they ruin their lives over it.

Why? Does that big bald green thing with an axe in the picture jump through the computer screen and chop your arm off if you play for too long?

I'll answer for David, the problem with playing WOW is, time passes, you really can lose hours without realising it, I know for one, how much he plays, how it affects him, one day he'll go too far and snuff it

I have played MMORPGs before, those take your life away. If you want to play, you have no choice but playing for many HOURS each time. You alaways feel compelled to play more, or play a certain amount of time so you dont leave your friends in a bad situation. MMORPGs and YT are not in the same league at all.

It does come with a warning. Final Fantasy XI always displays a message saying to play the game in moderation, and WoW has a similar message in the instruction manual, plus it regularly appears in the tips as you're logging in.

I'd probably enjoy a game like that, but knowing how obsessed I get about certain things, I'm staying away from it. And to answer the question, yes.

Never even heard of it. I find it hard to relate, how could someone get so addicted to something? It's beyond me.

The only people addicted to those games are people that detest their own life so much they need to escape from it and create a new reality of their "Life". That's why I play Final Fantasy.

Blizzard actually does have a disclaimer about playing too long. because there was this kid in Korea who played so much that he thought he was his character and he jumped out of his window and fell to his death. Also when you log in sometimes the tip of the day is, "Remember to take all things in moderation, even World of Warcraft." But yeah, the game is highly addictive :)

I just got a 14 day trial for it. Haven't started, but I think the whole "I'm addicted....to WoW" thing is a little retarded. It's as stupid as saying your addicted to weed, or LSD.
