Quite the opposite. The best aphrodisiac would actually be a person--any person--if you can't have the person you want. Only then do you start to realize that the person you can get is not so bad.

Loneliness leads to desolation, how could it be the best aphrodisiac? If the hidden meaning is self-acceptance/love, then yes. You can be alone and yet feel connected to those you care about, but are just recharging your energies.
