No. I'm one of those people who loves animals more than (most) people, and I'm perfectly normal. *twitches*

No, some just get along better with animals than people.

No, I think they just have an higher opinion of animals than people, and if that's the way they feel, I see nothing wrong with it. The human race is somewhat overrated.

No. B/c Mr. Meat-is-Murder at my school is one of the popular new-age kiddies.

Not at all. It's completely understandable, since most people will let you down. Animals will never do that.

No. Besides, the voices tell me I don't have any major social disorders.

So it's not somehow unnatural to put the welfare of a different species above the one of your own species?

Not at all. I really hate this stereotype. Some people just really suck.

Not at all. I love my dog more than any person in my life right now. She's my favorite "person" to be around.

Maybe not a serious disorder, but there's definitely something slightly wrong there. Great pictures for each choice, incidentally.

Not at all. There are a variety of reasons that someone could prefer animals over people, and most of them are valid.

No, just because someone loves animals more than humans doesn't necessarily mean they don't also love humans.

Animals don't care how ugly people are.

People who will donate money to animal welfare, but not to human charities disgust me.

Let's see. On yesterdays front page were photos of grown men clubbing seal pups to death, and inside was a story about a group of teenages who tortured and then hung a cat with string around its neck. We're the only species that kills for fun or profit. Yes, humans are great.

And why do we perceive a need for control? Because there isn't enough food for them. And why's that? Because we've fished so much that we've depleted their food source. I guess the fact that their pelts go for £30 each to the fashion industry is totally by the by.

I am one of those people and I am 100% normal. YOU only have to see how humans behave to know that animals are far nicer than people will ever be! I love animals, ALL animals.

If they shot them, those valuable pelts would be useless, and OF COURSE they can't be bothered to give them injections to kill them first (too much work for some animal that's only going to die anyway, I suppose). So they just skin them while they're still alive.

I think one of the ironic things about this question, and people who can't conceive why we 'advanced' humans could place another species over our own, is that it overlooks our capacity for compassion - one of the greater things about being 'advanced'.
