you can fear something and not be racist about it like im afraid of spiders but well i dont think there is a way to be racist about spiders but im not racist about them... if that made any sence at all

I think that "xenophobia" refers less to fear of foreign people and things (I doubt that a xenophobic would shudder with terror when they see a Frenchman), and more to hatred. In my experience, xenophobia and racism often go together, but they aren't the same. |

xenophobia dosent = racism cause it makes u fearful of foreners; racism makes u belive urself superior. they could overlap, but they don't have to by definition.

There are technically only THREE different RACES in our world, while there are numerous ethnicities and cultures. These two things differ greatly on the technical level, but in that they both deal with the idea of hating people that are different than you based solely on where they come from, they are similar. I would never call them equal, however, just similar.
