Hippy? Do you mean Hippie (as in 60's) or Hippy as in something I am unaware of?

Yeah. Look around you. There's something "wrong" w/ everything that it's constantly being protested and questioned.

Maybe the music and clothing will make a comeback. (hehe...a lot of hippies ran around naked) But hopefully not the drugs, protesting, and peace.

I was actually mostly kidding. They did have a lot of great music. I'm serious about the clothes, though.

That would be effing awesome if it did make a comeback and tbh I think it's trying to. But it'll never be like the original hippie era.

It won't with this generation, however. Each generation has to rebel against their parents, so this generation can't do the hippie thing. The children of this generation might bring it back, however.

Just what we need. A bunch of filthy, drug addled morons dropping out and trying to tell the government how to fix things.

The clothes and music are definitley making a comeback, which bothers me a little. I used to feel original because I was into it (drugs, peace, music, style..) but now it's a new fad in my school. It seems everyone is wearing fake birkenstocks, led zeppelin/rolling stones/pink floyd tees and streetsweeper skirts. I don't understand why people think the music is so bad, though. Before Rock n Roll, music wasn't nearly as literal and free as it is now. Ugh.. I just love the music.

It is a marketing tool from some yuppie on Madison Ave. who wants to get into your pocketbook. As for the music coming b

ack, a protest song here and there by Green Day and U2 certainly doesn't constitute a musical revolution.

Oh, bye the way, rock and roll existed for many years before the Summer of Love. Ever heard of Buddy Holley? Little Richard? Perhaps Bill Haley and The Comets?
