actually, i wouldn't be surpised if it led to anger, overcompetitiveness, and rapid heart rate and maybe desensitizing to violence (but just in extreme cases, depending upon the sport obviously)

If it takes over your life and if all you do all day is sit around and watch sports it can't be healthy, so yeah I suppose so.

I wouldn't know, I rarely watch sports.

Unless it's a school football game...and...I hardly go to those either.

Not for people that play recrationally, and not even for pro's either. The people that can get this kind of sickness are people that live, sleep, and eat sports and they don't even play any. People that can name the 1978 yankee's from memories or something like that, are definatly sick in the head. Get a life.
