Not at all
19 yrs ago - Sunday 7/27/03 - 11:12:58 AM EST (GMT-5)
Yes. We need tort reform so the malpractice insurance rates don't keep rising out of reach.

Every country always seems disatisfied with its health system, in britain everybodys always complaining about it and here we dont even need insurance.

How about a public health insurance?

Here in Scandinavia we have public health insurance (and also some few special ones, but they are VERY expensive), and it works kindda well. Not perfect, but it works.

I will only be concerned(scared) if Hillary gets her hands on it.

^^

Communism not wanted in the U.S.

We need to start deporting illegal aliens, not supplying them with free health care.

That's socialism, not communism. But I see what you're saying.

I could have guessed that 1adam12 wouldn't want socialized healthcare, that kiki would list a ton of links and so I bet you already knew I'd be for universal healthcare - as well as concerned about the inadequacies of the current system.
17 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Friday 10/22/04 - 3:18:58 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'm more concerned about the possible "solutions".
17 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Friday 10/22/04 - 3:19:17 PM EST (GMT-5)
Kiki I think you have the MakeLinks virus.
17 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Friday 10/22/04 - 3:54:17 PM EST (GMT-5)
I do ... and it's catching! You'd better stay away, you don't want to get it too
17 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Friday 10/22/04 - 4:13:29 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's OK, I'm protected.

Yes, I'm very concerned about the American health care system. Like many people, I have no health care coverage. I'm the only wage earner, my job doesn't provide health benifits, we can barely pay the mortgage and the bills and most certainly can not afford independent health insurance. If I or any one in my family gets sick or injured, we're screwed.
17 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Thursday 2/24/05 - 11:55:03 AM EST (GMT-5)
im not too concerned about it right now b/c its not really affecting me and i dont really know too much about it
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Tuesday 4/5/05 - 11:21:03 AM EST (GMT-5)
If I was American I'd be terrified to to get naything more serios than the cold.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Tuesday 4/5/05 - 11:23:07 AM EST (GMT-5)
I'd much rather get a cold here than in the UK! I've heard so many horror stories about what socialized medicine does to people
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Tuesday 4/5/05 - 11:25:26 AM EST (GMT-5)
Yep, it means that you don't pay at the point of delivery. I have epilepsy and have had tens of thousands of dollars worth of routine scans in my life. Idread to thiink what I'd be charged in your 'free' market system of insurance.
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Tuesday 4/5/05 - 11:26:27 AM EST (GMT-5)
Probably $10-20 per scan...
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Tuesday 4/5/05 - 11:27:54 AM EST (GMT-5)
When my wife was pregnant, all the ultrasounds she had were covered by our original $10 copay to her doctor...
17 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Tuesday 4/5/05 - 11:28:29 AM EST (GMT-5)
$20 for a full CAT scan and MRI scan. in your dreams.
