If we had kids and I was talking about my husband to the kids, then yeah. But no, not as a pet name.

The question is whether my husband would call me daddy.
Another question is how/where/why do I have a husband now.

If I were your husband, I would still call you Daddy.

This.
I once saw on a reality show (I think it was the real housewives of Beverly hills) that a lady called her husband daddy and when the other women were like 'wtf' she said something along the lines of 'what? Don't you all call your husband daddy?'
I'd laugh at my husband if he told me to call him 'daddy'. And I'd continue laughing for a very long time.

There seems to be a trend for mothers to start calling their husband Daddy. After numerous requests to their children to "Ask Daddy" Husband morphs into Daddy. My mum did this for about 30 odd years until all the kids left home. When there was a family gathering he became Dad again.
The same thing happened with 2 out of 3 my sisters and with their daughters too.
It not quite the same as the "Whose your Daddy?" thing
