Have you ever gotten a passport and then never used it before it expired?
Sometimes people will get one just to have but then never get a chance to use it. When I got mine, I was getting it to have just in case the opportunity came up to use it, but honestly thought I wouldn`t be that blessed, but I was. Oh, and using it just for ID purposes at bars or whatever when a driver's license would suffice doesn't count. By "using" I mean when you NEED it. Such as for international travel.
I should've said that using it as ID alone doesn't count. I mean using it when you actually NEED it. As in, travelling internationally. For simple ID purposes, all you really need is a valid driver's license. But we all know that if you try to get on an international flight and you ain't got that passport, you ain't got that flight.

Yeah, I like ground transportation, too. I also wouldn't mind sea travel if time allows for it. Couldn't do that for my recent trip. Only had 10 days and had to be there by a certain time. Still got severely delayed, too.
