I carry mine in my pocket.
It's called a lighter.

Since I don't drink and drive, there is no need for me to keep a bottle opener with me while driving.

You only carry your keys while driving?
I use the bottle opener on my key ring quite often, but never while driving...

Of course not, to see it as such would be profiling, which is (thankfully) illegal.

Nope. My bottle opener is incidental since it’s part of a multi tool.

No pathogens have to grow in the beer? Even if the bottle opener just transfers a bit of regular old dirt onto the lip of the bottle, that's still nasty.

The key is to lick the sole of the flip-flop clean before using it to open the bottle. That way you won't contaminate your beer. Don't you know anything?

To be fair, i've only used it as a break in case of emergency type of situation.
Basically only at the beach. Sand is good for you.
