I was watching a show on the History channel and it said in 2014 more assets were taken with civil forfeiture than all burglaries combined.

don't they already get a cut in places where marijuana is legal? i'm pretty sure that marijuana sales are taxed like alcohol and cigarettes are taxed.

That is very clearly not the same thing as civil asset forfeiture.
