The family always jokes that I was adopted. But mom always says, "You have green eyes just like your dad!"

As if that really means anything...

I'm a complete mix of both my parents, so I can't really be that adopted.

Yes, when I was younger. Mainly because my older brother repeatedly told me this was the case.

No because I look waaaaaaay too much like both of my parents.

There's a little girl I know who actually is adopted. Her parents call her a little immigrant or Ching Chong Ping Pong because she's chinese.
Right now she thinks it's hilarious because she's all of five but it's still not funny.

I've never wondered, I look too much like my mother.

I have wondered, wished even, but Im the spitting image of my mom. I guess I can still hope for not being genetically related to my dad

No, I look exactly like my older brother, and have a strong resemblance to many of my mother's ancestors.

No- - it really wouldn't much much difference if I were adopted or not. The only time it might be an issue is when my doctor looks at my family medical history to see what kinds of diseases and such run in the family...

Only if both of my brothers are adopted too, because we all look too much alike for it to be a coincidence...

Just an fyi, in Australia in the 1950's 60's and 70's the adoption agencies were exclusively religious and they had a policy of "matching" the looks of the biological parents with the adoptive parents. My biological mother spent a lot of time trying to work out with the adoption agency what I would look like when I grew up. I was always told when I was a kid I looked like my mothers side of the family....and at the age of 20 when I met my biol mother, it was freaky how much she looked like my mother. In the later 1970's the policy changed, but up until then physical characteristics were paramount importance as to where the child was placed.

But now it's obvious that I look super related to my dad so I don't question it.

It's more likely I was some sort of clone. I look way too much like my father.

My mom and I look far too much alike for that to even be a remote possibility.
