Could you live life with only 100 possessions?

I don't think counting all the things in my apartment would take that long, and wouldn't reach 100, if you don't count papers for university and stuff like that.

100 for your life isn't much. Don't forget about clothes, personal hygeine stuff, furniture to sit on, computers/technology, food ... break it down and 100 items isn't a lot.

i am guessing each food ingredient doesn't count as a possession?
what does count as one thing?

the point of the article is to simplify your life, not micromanage it... jeez

I bought more than 300 possessions today. In fact I bought about 450.

If you break it down into just clothing you'd be hard pressed not to have 20.
For cooking and eating you would need at least the same
add washing and cleaning and there isn't much room for stuff like computers, cars and tv's.

I've lived with much less than 100 possessions before and would have a real easy time doing it again. But I have to agree that it takes a frugal mentality, and where I'd be missing most is probably kitchen ware.
