Not a real one. When I was in the military, I would go home (to Utah) on leave for more than 2 weeks, but I don't count that as a vacation. Utah is no treat.

I'm flying to London in May for 3 weeks, though.
12 yrs ago - Tuesday 4/27/10 - 3:46:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes, in Europe.

I've also had two "extended vacations" when I got sick and couldn't go to school for a semester.
12 yrs ago - Tuesday 4/27/10 - 5:12:07 PM EST (GMT-5)
The only one I remember is when I was about 10 we went on a 6 week vacation.
12 yrs ago - Tuesday 4/27/10 - 5:16:15 PM EST (GMT-5)
No I wish I could stay in Myrtle Beach for more than two weeks.
12 yrs ago - Tuesday 4/27/10 - 5:54:19 PM EST (GMT-5)
I traveled through parts of the USA for about 3 months.
12 yrs ago - Tuesday 4/27/10 - 5:58:31 PM EST (GMT-5)
One was a road trip to Yellowstone, the other was a road trip to the Grand Canyon.
12 yrs ago - Tuesday 4/27/10 - 7:26:54 PM EST (GMT-5)
I am on permanent vacation.
12 yrs ago - Tuesday 4/27/10 - 8:07:43 PM EST (GMT-5)
No. I've never been on a vacation that lasted longer than 4 days.
I can't afford to travel much yet; a long weekend in Vegas is all I've managed.
12 yrs ago - Tuesday 4/27/10 - 10:40:54 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not yet, but I'll be going on a thirty-day Eurotrip next summer.
12 yrs ago - Tuesday 4/27/10 - 11:09:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes. 15 WHOLE DAYS, MUCH LARGER THAN 14 DAYS, OOOOOO
12 yrs ago - Wednesday 4/28/10 - 4:31:32 AM EST (GMT-5)
No...max a week and a half. I don't particularly enjoy holidays and I doubt I'd cope with longer than two weeks.
12 yrs ago - Wednesday 4/28/10 - 11:12:13 AM EST (GMT-5)
Typically mid-June through August.
12 yrs ago - Wednesday 4/28/10 - 11:38:58 AM EST (GMT-5)
No... I mean, if I take a vacation at my current job I wind up with 12 days off for taking a weeks worth of time off. If I took 2 weeks off I'd wind up taking a month off.

I don't know if I could handle the downtime!
12 yrs ago - Wednesday 4/28/10 - 12:14:53 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes but i didn't consider it a vacation...more of a "prolonged family outing". I went to England, Dubai and India for about a month in total...I was sick in England, boiling and bored in both Dubai and India...I was going to visit the wife's family and we didn't do any site seeing...sucked...
12 yrs ago - Wednesday 4/28/10 - 2:44:22 PM EST (GMT-5)
Nope, the longest vacation I have ever taking was going to see my grandparents who live a few states away. The whole time I was there, I babysat my cousin's 2 kids because she didn't. Sucked big time.
12 yrs ago - Wednesday 4/28/10 - 2:56:21 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yup, two weeks and a day C: In Austria, it was soo much fun and I want to go there again for my 16th birthday
12 yrs ago - Wednesday 4/28/10 - 3:35:52 PM EST (GMT-5)
As a teacher, I get approximately 2 months off in the Summer, though like most teachers I work a second job during that time. I had a few Summers early in my career, when I didn't know any better, where I took that whole time off save for a workshop here and there. I manage a 3-week stretch of not working most Summers still, though a fair portion of that involves the money-making "hobby" of mass gardening, which may actually be more work than normal.
12 yrs ago - Wednesday 4/28/10 - 3:41:16 PM EST (GMT-5)
Before I moved to Santa Cruz, I would go down and visit for the majority of the summer. So yes, I have vacationed for more than 2 weeks time.
12 yrs ago - Wednesday 4/28/10 - 3:54:46 PM EST (GMT-5)
I've never even taken two.
12 yrs ago - Friday 4/30/10 - 4:21:51 AM EST (GMT-5)
No, the longest time I've taken off work is a week and that was because I was sick. Not really a holiday.
