I wouldn't buy it. It seems like if I got in a wreck with that thing serious injury or death would follow.

Agreed. And even without an accident, it doesn't seem like it would be much fun in bad weather.

Fresh water is going to be a problem soon.

I'm looking forward to the air motor. South Korea works on it, France works on it. It's great, it filters the air, actually, the air coming out of the exhaust is cleaner than the one coming in. The only problem so far is the car can't go faster than 50km/h.

But I have high hopes for that.
12 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 4/20/10 - 9:50:25 PM EST (GMT-5)
No. It looks dubious. Where would I put groceries? Where would I put my family? I'd rather walk with a wagon in tow, or get a horse and buggy.

50km/h is faster then people used to be able to travel. I think we may need to make some sacrifices when it comes to speed if it means better things for the environment. Plus, you can only go 50 in town anyhow...

We have oceans full of the stuff- - there's no shortage of non-potable water.

It takes a lot of energy to compress air...

Negative emissions would be a consideration that could tip the scales for me, even despite a marginally heftier price tag. By 2030 hopefully it would be more viable and would be available technology in other cars without compromising other features.
12 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Wednesday 4/21/10 - 2:49:43 PM EST (GMT-5)
I guess so.

But you'd think after so much money and research put into this, they'd bother to hire a designer who wasn't drunk at the time.
