No, there are always going to be people who prefer computers to iCrap. As long as businesses still need computers, then they'll be on the market

If it doesn't run Windows XP, have a Com port, USB port, ethernet port, and a real keyboard, I'm not going to replace my PC with it...

Personal computers won't go away any time soon and definitely because of apps. That is just stupid.
I don't know of anything that has the potential to make the pc go obsolete.

Ditto on both of these. What the f*cking crap is the iPad anyway aside from an overpriced laptop?

I'm not sure I understand. An app is a program, nothing more. On a pc, the executable file has a .exe extension. On the Mac OS, the extension is .app.
Computers would be useless without programs to run and programs would be useless without some sort of computer to run them.
Now, handheld mobile devices may become powerful enough and connected enough (to larger servers, for instance) that a larger stationary personal machine is obsolete, but they still have microprocessors - i.e. computers in them.
