Rarely, especially when I was into 'astral projection' (never managed to make it out of body) & meditation. Hasn't happened to me in years, though.

No. When I realize that I'm dreaming, I wake up.
12 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/13/10 - 2:50:22 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes, but rarely.

For some reason I don't dream very often, so when i do I know i'm dreaming. And my dreams are always very vivid.
12 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 1/13/10 - 9:20:04 PM EST (GMT-5)
Very rarely. When it does happen, I try to control the dreams as long as I can. Unless it's a nightmare. If it's a nightmare, I end up on the floor in an awkward position after fighting to wake up.

Only once in a while - but once I become aware its a dream I just go along with whatever the situation is but in a totally blase way even if something mind-blowing is happening.

I've never been able to do that.

Usually when I realize I'm just dreaming, I end up just waking myself.
8 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Tuesday 5/28/13 - 4:33:57 AM EST (GMT-5)
There's tips and tricks, fo sho! You have to kind of train your brain but once your brain gets the hang of it you can do it pretty easily.
8 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Tuesday 5/28/13 - 4:36:42 AM EST (GMT-5)
I heard there were, but I never learned about any techniques.
8 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Tuesday 5/28/13 - 4:38:08 AM EST (GMT-5)
The infographic I posted (with the spoiler) has some. Also, have you watched the film Waking Life? There's one scene specifically which talks about lucid dreaming.
8 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Tuesday 5/28/13 - 4:42:39 AM EST (GMT-5)
I've never heard of that movie.

That's an interesting infographic. I never used to record my dreams, but I may start.
8 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Tuesday 5/28/13 - 4:50:49 AM EST (GMT-5)
Awesome, let me know how it goes!!
I've done a lot of dream sharing, analysis, learning about when I dream more if there are certain things going on in my life, diet, exercise, substance use, sleep routine, and other aspects of lifestyle can all affect dreaming.
It's a great tool for self awareness and inspiration.

I would like to talk to you about this but it looks like you haven't been on YT in quite a while.

5 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 12/28/16 - 8:25:08 AM EST (GMT-5)
I've had lucid dreams for as long as I can remember. I don't have as much control as used to though.
5 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 12/28/16 - 12:38:42 PM EST (GMT-5)
I have before, but not usually. Makes no difference to me, really, as long as I get to dream every night.
5 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Thursday 12/29/16 - 5:21:38 AM EST (GMT-5)

5 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Thursday 12/29/16 - 10:54:26 AM EST (GMT-5)
Pretty much every night. I wish they would go away. I feel like I am constantly awake.
