Are the colors of the rainbow comparable to the range of fruit tastes (cherry, orange, lemon, lime, blue raspberry, and grape)?

And I never understood why raspberry is blue.

Not blue raspberry. I've never seen a real blue raspberry.

How can you compare color to taste?

like somehow there might be a range of tastes...putting them in order somhow....like the molecules are different.

Sounds like you're putting them in order based on their color, not their taste.

Except raspberries are red, not blue. Why people make them blue, I don't know. How about a blueberry instead?

Raspberries that turn blue/purple are called blackberries.

However, some idiot looked at his newly darkened raspberry bush one day and thought "Oh, these must be a new version of raspberries."

And so red raspberries are now blueish raspberries.

And even then, they look more purple than blue.

Well, if it's real fruit, then I'd say the blue would be blueberry. But I like to think of the rainbow colors more along the lines of Jell-O flavors. When I make Jell-O shots, I usually make the six colors of the rainbow. I don't have a way to make the indigo.
