yea. i always thought of him as a decent fellow.
it's probably hard to have to deal with the temptations that come along with being famous, but i figured he'd be strong enough to overcome them

This. Not that how often something happens determines its wrongness; I just don't think that 'cheating' is as evil as everyone makes it out to be.

Why?
Adultery isn't illegal.
Adultery doesn't give him an unfair golf advantage like using steroids might do.
Adultery is a private issue between him and his wife, and the league should have nothing to do with it. |

What the heck do I care, really, if some guy is cheating on his wife? I mean, sure I think it's bad that some woman is getting cheated on, in a general sense. But no more bad than anyone else getting cheated on. I don't know the details of their marriage, is it a sham? Is it loveless? Has she cheated before? I neither know nor care.
It is something for them to work out for themselves, if they care to do so. |
