Do you, or does someone you know, ever suffer from mental or physical problems as a result of texting too much?

I hardly ever text, but I have friends who text all the time.
I wouldn't say they have mental or physical problems, though....yet.

I'm pretty sure my friend is gonna kill herself on the road one of these days. She texts f#cking nonstop while driving. She'll drop her little boyfriend off at home and immediately start a deep conversation with him while driving. Pisses me off. She can't f#cking put her phone down.

I have mental problems, but I don't text. And I don't see what having mental/physical problems have to do with texting.

My point is, I don't think texting causes anxiety disorders. Maybe people stress over texting (I really don't see why they would?) but I don't think texting, in particular, causes mental illness.
