Yeah I see how they'd be great if you had a house, but I have a condo. I've seen some for condos that you keep in your kitchen, but the thought of having rotting food in my kitchen prevents me from even entertaining that idea. If I had a house, and land to put fertilizer on, I'd have one though.

I have a composting bucket in which I collect organics from the kitchen.
Every two or three days, I bury the organics in the yard. The worms and microbes do the rest. No need for a more complex composting system.

We have a worm farm, which is similar but a bit more limited as to what you can put into it.

No, but we had one in my Foods/Home Ec. class and we use to put eggshells in it. I think we used it for the green house.
