Leave your shotgun on the ground? Loaded? With safety off? What a great, brilliant idea!

no, it's definitely not karma.

I didn't see the reply quoted above, but wow.

And yeah, it's the person's stupidity/bad luck. Humans have a nack for attributing divine influences to occurences that can easily be explained some other way.

I don't usually believe in karma,
And I'm not exactly a nature-lover and such,
but I guess it's mostly just stupidity of being careless with anything that can cause fatal injuries.
Great suicide excuse, though.Fountain of youth.

no, just lack of common sense

Not karma.

That saying has no relevancy whatsoever to the question at hand.
13 yrs ago - Tuesday 5/19/09 - 9:56:21 PM EST (GMT-5)
It depends why they're hunting. If you just shoot an animal and walk away, yeah that's Karma.

All the more reason not to let them have guns.

No, its the firearm, not karmic retribution. I would think though that if you're foolish enough to accidentally shoot yourself, you should probably not be allowed to handle a loaded gun anyway.

It didn't kill this one but that's karma to me...

Not karma. I would say that he 'deserved' it in the sense that negligence can be expected to create things that can go wrong, which, by Murphy's Law, will.

There is no such thing as karma so the question is void.
