Actually, spooning usually means sleeping (or cuddling) in the position shown in the pictures - like spoons in a drawer.
I enjoy both being the spoonor and the spoonee.

I can't sleep as a spooner because I need personal space when I sleep. It's a pretty awkward position to sleep in really.

Most women probably prefer being spooned especially if their partner is taller than them because it's hard spooning someone bigger than you.

I think if you're the guy, you have to spoon. Usually women like to be held more, plus it's a naturally right position, especially in the buff :)

I prefer to be on the inside of the spoonie! My man has broad shoulders and is 5" taller than me so I'm always a bit uncomfortable spooning him. I still do it though!
