I agree with Shredder.
Why couldn't a man say "we're expecting?" Its not like the woman got pregnant all by herself.

Pregnant, yes. Expecting, no.
She's pregnant, they're both expecting.

Tell me Kiki, how did you come to the conclusion that the man isn't expecting anything?

We're expecting is correct. We're pregnant, technically isn't. But they are having a baby together; she is pregnant and he is excited. Give the man a break. It's an expression and everyone knows what the guy means.

She's probably one of those feminazis that expect the guy to walk out on the mother first chance he gets, since he's being deprived of his personal space.
Either that, or she didn't think about it properly.

WTF I hate feminists. I think the question is quite obvious, I didn't think people would be confused by it. Obviously 'expecting' is being used as the word 'pregnant' in this case. Otherwise, everyone in the world is 'expecting' something.

You hate feminists? You think men are superior to women?

Is that the definition of an anti-feminist? I don't think so. I just don't believe in the 'feminazi' movement. I believe in gender roles and traditional values.

If a feminist believes in the equality of the genders, then an anti-feminist believes in their inequality. If there is inequality, there is superiority.
Fail.

Not really because when the man says we he means that him and his wife are going to be parents but it does get a little weird since the woman is having the baby and not the man.

You can hate feminists because they're (often) rude, bossy little bitches, not because of their ideals.

I don't get annoyed if the man says we're expecting, but if he says 'we're pregnant' I feel like saying 'ooh, so how do you work shifts? Or do you just deal with the back pain and constant urinating while your wife has the sore feet and the always-in-the-way stomach?'

Really? Most of the feminists I know don't even advertise they're feminists, let alone be rude about it.

It doesn't <annoy> me but I think it's a bit weird when the guy states it as if he's pregnant too.

"We're expecting [a baby in x months]!" Great. It doesn't imply that both people are actually gestating.
"We're pregnant!" No, one of you is pregnant.

The person who started the feminist discussion was referring to feminazis though - to me, those are different. I believe in equality, not just for women but for everyone. But I don't think that makes me a feminist, just a fair person.
