I would end the war because in my opinion it is kinda impossible to eliminate disease when our bodies create new ones.

same here, and if we eliminated disease, people would try to kill each others anyways. But if we eliminate war, people would maybe be kinder, and countries would help each other to find out the cures for the diseases.

You are talking in terms of impossibilities in the context of a question that grants you superpowers?

I agree with SilverMInd. Besides, if we are talking impossibilities, woudn't war be just as hard at stopping? I mean, there is/were dumb leaders of countries out there.

If we eliminated all diseases the world would become even more overpopulated and we'd all live crappy lives. Diseases are good.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 3/22/09 - 5:08:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
Hard choice. How about both of them?
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 3/22/09 - 5:17:05 PM EST (GMT-5)
Diseases.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 3/22/09 - 7:20:29 PM EST (GMT-5)
Disease kills many more people than does war, so I would eliminate disease.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 3/22/09 - 8:37:51 PM EST (GMT-5)
Honestly, neither. Both keep the population under control. But if I had to choose, I'd go with war, since it kills less people.

War, scientists are working to eliminate disease while war has been with us since the beginning and is only ramping up. It won't be disease that destroys the world.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 3/22/09 - 10:08:07 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'll let the world fight over the other, but I would definitely eliminate disease.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 3/22/09 - 10:09:36 PM EST (GMT-5)
Eliminating disease would cause the world to be grossly overpopulated.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 3/22/09 - 11:25:57 PM EST (GMT-5)
war. Then they can spend all the military money on curing diseases.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 5:41:36 AM EST (GMT-5)
wow. tough but interesting question.

i think disease is a bigger problem to the human population than war is.

so i'd choose to eliminate disease.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 7:25:48 AM EST (GMT-5)
War. War is a man-created disaster, but effects the entire world and all the creatures that live on it. Disease is a natural occurrence that is a major contributor to evolution and natural selection. Survival of the fittest. Take away disease and populations with skyrocket and will start adapting at much slower rates.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 10:03:16 AM EST (GMT-5)
I'd eliminate disease since I'm personally more scared of that than war.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 10:14:52 AM EST (GMT-5)
That's a tough question. I think I would want to eliminate disease for the babies and people who didn't give themselves the diseases through sex and drugs, but there are always going to be new diseases. On the other hand, this war has to stop, so I guess I go with stoping the war. I know the the war is man-made, but how are you suppose to stop when they keep coming at us!?
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 10:15:56 AM EST (GMT-5)
Stopping*
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 10:40:43 AM EST (GMT-5)
Disease, since far more people die of diseases. I mean most of the population dies of heart disease or cancer.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 5:12:17 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'd eliminate disease, so my diabetes would be gone.
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 5:20:35 PM EST (GMT-5)
In my opinion, diseases exist for a reason, possibly as an aid for overpopulation. War is less necessary than disease
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 5:22:47 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'd go with war because disease is fun!
13 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 3/23/09 - 8:22:11 PM EST (GMT-5)
Honestly, neither. Because if we eliminate one form of drama in our lives, we'll surely just find another. Humans need action-packed lives that revolve around drama and conflict. It's just how we are.
