What the f**k are you talking about?

Cuba wanted to point nuclear weapons at the US, but in the end never did.

China, on the other hand, had nuclear weapons aimed at the US for decades.

These days China has a capitalist economy; that's official policy (from the Party Congress I don't remember the number of). Never mind that it is a dictatorship, as long as you can do business with them it's OK.

And China & the US have over the years built a relationship where none of them can do without the other.

Cuba, on the other hand, is a small third world country which has nothing to offer (with the possible exception of cigars), so you don't risk anything by criticizing their particular brand of communism.

But criticizing the lack of human rights in China would be bad for the economy.

So it's just plain pragmatism.

You can like somebody or something without agreeing with it or liking EVERYTHING about it.

I'm not sure I would say the US is friendly with China....

China has stuff.
Cuba has no stuff.

So, we like China.

How friendly do you really think we are with China? Can you imagine opening a "Gitmo East" in China?

China is liked cause they have all the money, and cuba isnt cause their people are slowly congregating in miami

Slowly the doors to Cuba are being opened. Can't make Cuba want to talk with us and more then the US can go in and take it over.

Political ideals have little to do with it, we put up with China cause they invest in the U.S. We dont care if they're red as long as they spend the green!!
