Only if the amount of money you make is directly related to how good you are in bed. I doubt it.

I believe the results... but it's wrong to draw pessimistic conclusions in my opinion.

maybe since their partner has more money they can relax and enjoy the sex better than if the partner had less money. i mean, if they don't have to worry about the money/financial situation, so they would enjoy the sex better... right?

Yet another point in the tally for Evolutionary Psychology.
God, I hate their results, but I can't help but agree that it makes sense.

That definitely is a possible third variable.
But the body of evidence for evolutionary psych just keeps on growing

^ They included happiness too, it was significant, but the it wasn't as strong a predictor (and to an extent was independent from) as partner wealth.
I took a look at the paper (You can find it on the author, Daniel Nettle's, home page if anyone is curious). Whilst wealth was a significant predictor, the model wasn't a great fit, which means a lot of the variability in the reports of orgasm frequency wasn't accounted for by their partner's wealth. You wouldn't normally expect it to be that high in things like this, but still.

Well, I definitely agree with the relaxed part that someone mentioned earlier, plus I remember reading a study somewhere that said wealthier people tend to have kinkier sex, so...

Also people seem to be overlooking the effect wealth has on the male psyche.
More confident and powerful male equals sexier which equals more orgasms.

But the real question is the chicken or the egg?
Are they confident and more attractive because they're wealthy, or wealthy because they're confident and more attractive?

All you fine folk who are coming out with third variables.
They test for that too, you know.

I'm thinking that while the partner is out working long hours earning all that money, the wife is home having orgasms with the pool boy, next door neighbor(s), grocery delivery guy, etc.
