If you read in bed, would you like this nightstand that also functions as a placemarker?

That looks really cool.

A bookmark works pretty well for me, but this would be pretty cute to have

You can do the same with any table - just lay the book with one side on the table and the other side hanging off.

I do it all the time.

I wouldn't want it - I think the placemaker has the potential to wreck the spine of the book
Plus I just don't like the style at all

It doesn't look very sturdy....and I usually just set my book face down to hold my place...

Me too...I don't see the point in buying a stand to do this basic function...

Nah, a bookmarks works just fine. I hate placing books like that; I'm a big nerd with my books and hate bending them awkwardly and such.

Atlas Shrugged is a big book. I'd be scared of breaking the table. The idea's good, but I think it would just cause things to get broken.

What a waste of money. Can't one just put the book facedown on a regular nighstand? I do that all the time.
13 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Thursday 1/15/09 - 3:41:43 AM EST (GMT-5)
Probably expensive since its "arty"
13 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Thursday 1/15/09 - 8:09:12 AM EST (GMT-5)
It looks kind of cool, but I think it would be a huge waste of money. A bookmark works just fine.

Nice idea, but that's ugly.
13 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Thursday 1/15/09 - 11:27:21 AM EST (GMT-5)
Sure
13 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Thursday 1/15/09 - 12:09:35 PM EST (GMT-5)
I think it's VERY MODERN...it seems that US people here have no sense of fashion..no, I'm just being an idiot by saying that. But I beleve that modernity is never a waste of money..maybe cos I have the money..
But going back to the point, I think it's useful, even if I use bookmarkers...I'd like it in an other colour, like flashy pink or lime green or silver.

Dude, that is very cool.; So what, it's easy to mark your place. What about the fact that it's modern and fresh, also it's the first of it's kind and the design is superior. I love it... it's so... abstract.
13 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Thursday 1/15/09 - 7:57:49 PM EST (GMT-5)
No. I have a thing on my bed that holds my books (and other things) and my bedroom would not have enough room for that.
13 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Friday 1/16/09 - 9:41:29 PM EST (GMT-5)
Nope - compromises potential storage space too much.
13 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Monday 2/9/09 - 9:35:54 AM EST (GMT-5)

12 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Saturday 6/6/09 - 12:53:29 PM EST (GMT-5)
No thank you...
